A complete River Oaks transformation taken from concept through construction under one roof. Warm walnut slatwork, deep stone, and bold saffron accents layer drama over a calm architectural shell. Designed and built by Spotlight Style, with no handoffs between the vision and its execution.
A ground-up custom home in West University, built around light. Steel-framed windows, white oak floors, and a quiet warm-neutral palette let the architecture and craftsmanship speak first, with sculptural furnishings adding the punctuation. Spotlight Style led both the interior design and the build, start to finish.

I'm Preeti Shah, Founder & Principal Designer of Spotlight Style.
For more than a decade in New York, I produced luxury events, the kind where a single evening had to be flawless, every detail choreographed for a precise emotional outcome, with no second take. That work was featured in The New York Times, New York Weddings, and on the Style Network, and it taught me something I carry into every project now: how a space makes you feel is designed, not left to chance.
Eight years ago, I brought that discipline to Houston and started my next chapter. Today I lead Spotlight Style as a fully integrated design build firm, concept through construction under one roof, one contract, one point of accountability. No handoffs between designer and contractor, no finger pointing, no vision lost in translation. The person who imagines your home is the person who builds it.
